Institute of Physics invites students from all over the country for admission in one year pre doctoral program. It has been known as an autonomous Research Institute of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The admission in the same is done on the basis of the merit obtained by the student in tests like GATE and CSIR-UGC. The institute is situated in Bhubaneswar for providing these reputed courses to the candidates.

Available Courses:

• 1 year PhD program

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have done M.Sc. in Physics to be eligible for the course.
• The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks as aggregate in the qualifying examinations.
• The candidate must have also cleared GATE or CSIR-UGC Entrance Test (NET) with a minimum of 95 percentile.

• Last date for submission of completed application forms: May 15, 2009

NOTE: Candidates who have cleared JEST 2009 with minimum score of 95 percentile need not send any application form. They will be contacted directly by the Institute.
