IP University CET-2009 Important Dates



Indraprastha University invites applications from all the candidates for various professional and Engineering courses. The admission in various courses will be offered on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in Common Entrance Test. The university also offers excellent placements to its students and is now known to be one of the best universities of the capital. The schedule of the Common Entrance Test for admission in various courses is as follows:

IMPORTANT DATES for CET for programs:

  • BTech (Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Tool Engineering and Environment Engineering) : May 31, 2009.
  • BTech/MTech (dual degree) Computer Science & Engineering, BTech/MTech (dual degree) Information Technology, BTech/MTech (dual degree) Chemical Engineering: May 31, 2009.
  • Lateral Entry to BTech (engineering and technology) programmes (2nd year/ 3rd semester) for diploma holders: June 1, 2009.
  • Lateral Entry to BTech (for B.Sc graduates): June 1, 2009.
  • BTech/MTech (dual degree) Biotechnology: June 7, 2009.
  • B.Arch : No CET for this course
  • MCA/ MCA(software engineering): May 24, 2009.
  • MBA/ MBA(part time): May 30, 2009.
  • Master of Mass Media: May 31, 2009.
  • M.Ed: May 30, 2009.
  • Master of physiotherapy (neurology/musculoskeletal/sports): June 1, 2009.
  • Master of Occupational Therapy(neurology/musculoskeletal): June 1, 2009.
  • Master of prosthetics and orthotics: June 1, 2009.
  • BBA (computer aided management, banking & insurance, tour & travel management): June 2, 2009.
  • M.Sc (Biodiversity & Conservation): June 3, 2009.
  • Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology: June 3, 2009.
  • Bachelor of journalism (mass communication): June 4, 2009.
  • Bachelor of physiotherapy/ Bachelor of Occupational Therapy/ Bachelor of prosthetics and orthotics: June 5, 2009.
  • B.Ed: June 5, 2009.
  • B.Sc(Hons.) nursing (only for unmarried girls): June 6, 2009.
  • M.Sc (environment management): June 7, 2009.
  • MA (English and communication studies): June 7, 2009.
  • Lateral Entry to B Pharma for diploma holders: June 8, 2009.
  • BCA: June 8, 2009.
  • LLM: June 9, 2009.
  • BA, LLB (Hons.)/ BBA, LLB (Hons.): June 9, 2009.
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy: June 10, 2009.
  • MBBS (Stage-I): May 24, 2009.
  • MBBS (Stage-II): June 21,2009.
