ISIT 2010 MCA
ISIT MCA Test (IMCAT) is conducted by ISIT every year for selection of candidates into its MCA programs. The ISIT is affiliated to the ICFAI University, Dehradun. ISIT presently has campuses at Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Visakhapatnam and new campus is emerging in Pune. There is tough competition among students from all over India for the entrance examination.
Entrance into the MCA programs in all the ISIT institutes is only through IMCAT. ISIT offers state-of-art infrastructure, faculty and placement opportunities. IMCAT is conducted in many centers across India and students from all over the states apply for the MCA course.
For eligibility, the applying candidates should possess a valid bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Final year graduates can also apply for the course. There is no age limit for applying to the MCA course.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official website for ISIT and pay through credit card or download the application, complete it and send to ISIT, Hyderabad along with the demand draft. The official website from which applications can be downloaded is www.isitindia.org
The last date for submitting application forms is over and it was on 20th April, 2010. The entrance examination was conducted on 3rd May, 2010 and the results were declared on 24th May, 2010.
Candidates were selected based on their performance in IMCAT written exam. Candidates academic track record and work experience was also considered in the final selection of the candidates. IMCAT is conducted for 3 hours and the candidates were examined through written test which comprises of multiple choice questions. The candidate’s analytical ability, mathematical ability, vocabulary, business and computer terminology, functional grammar and reading comprehension were all tested in the exam.
