Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships 2009



The Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fund invites applications from all the Indian Nationals and nationals of other Asian countries who are interested in taking scholarships for PhD studies in India. The institute has been known as one of the reputed one and offers scholarships to the meritorious students for duration of up to 2 years. The institute is also known for providing excellent placements to its students and is approved by Government of India.

  • Social Science
  • Indian History
  • Economic Development
  • Environment and Nehru Studies

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The age of the candidate must be less than 35 years.
  • The candidate must have obtained their post-graduation degree from any of the recognized universities.
  • Candidate must be Full time PhD scholar or should be registered for PhD in an Indian University/Institution.

Important Dates:

  • Complete application form should reach the fund office latest by: May 31, 2009.

Admission Criteria:

  • One should need an admission form from the Administrative Secretary of the institute by sending a postal order or money order of Rs50/- in the name of ?Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund? payable at New Delhi.
