JBIMS 2010 MBA



JBIMS stands for Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. This institute is regarded as one of the best management institute in the entire India. The institute was established in the year 1965 by the Bombay University. Moreover the institute is supported by the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. In the main management programme the areas of specialization offered are marketing, finance, information system, Human Resource Development and operations management. Moreover there are some courses for the working executives too. Those are

· Master’s Degree Programme in Financial Management (MFM)
A Three-year part-time course for working executives.

· Master’s Degree Programme in Human Resources Development Management (MHRDM)
A Three-year part -time course for working executives.

· Master’s Degree Programme in Marketing Management (MMM)
A Three-year part -time course for working executives.

There is a provision for Doctoral studies too. There is a provision of an entrance test to enroll students to the mainstream management programmes. It’s called CET or Common Entrance Exam. To become eligible to appear in the test one must have at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with at least 45% marks.
