JNU 2010 MCA



Jawaharlal Nehru University is among the top-notch universities in India. It’s a dream of millions of Indian students to get enrolled in a course of Jawaharlal Nehru University. If you are passionate about doing your Masters in Computer Application then you can go for the MCA from Jawaharlal Nehru University. The total credits of the MCA course offered by the university are 64 credits.

Eligibility conditions:

For admission to the course, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with adequate competence in Mathematics under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks is required. But if you are appearing in the qualifying examination then too you are eligible to apply for the MCA in the Jawaharlal Nehru University.

There are six semesters in the MCA course. The Semester I includes the papers Programming using Structured Language, Digital System Design, Discrete Mathematics, Computational Linear Algebra and Computational Probability and Statistical Methods.

The Semester II includes Data Structures, Systems Programming, Computer Architecture and Comparative Study of Programming.

The Semester III includes the compulsory papers of Algorithms, Database Management Systems and Mathematical Foundations of computer Science. The elective papers in the Semester III include Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Network and Distributed Systems, Computer Construction; Microprocessor based system design and Computer Network in Architecture & Operating Systems.

The Semester IV includes the compulsory papers of Software Engineering. The elective papers in the Semester IV include Object Oriented Programming and systems, Advanced Topics in Cognitive sciences, Algorithmic Optimization, Computational Numerical Methods, Distributed Applications Programming, Advanced Topics in DBMS (OODBMS, Intelligent, and Distributed Database), Modeling of Computer Systems, Enterprise Computering, Advanced topics in Computer Graphics and Advanced topics in Theory of Computations.

The Semester V includes the papers Advanced topics in theory of Computations, Advanced topics in Language, Advanced topics in Architecture and Operating Systems, Advanced topics in Software Engineering, Advanced topics in Algorithm, Advanced topics in Scientific Computing, Advanced topics in Compute Network and Distributed Systems, Graphical User Interface, Strategies for I.T. Management and Advanced topics in AI and Cognitive Sciences.

The Semester VI includes the Industrial Project.
