Office of the Registrar General under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India is inviting applications for the post of Joint Director Census Operation (Group-A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on deputation/promotion basis.

The PB is of Rs.12000-375-16500/- (pre-revised) & Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.6600/-(revised) (PB-3). The number of post is 2.

Eligibility (Deputation): Officers of the Central/State Govts/UT:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis.

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the post in the pay scale of Rs.10000-15200/- or equal.

Essentials:

(i) Post Graduate Degree in Operation Research/Statistics/Maths (with Statistics)/Commerce (with Stats)/Economics (with Stats)/Sociology/Anthropology from any reputed University/equal.

(ii) Experience of 10 years in the collection of Statistical Data. Out of which 3 years must be of Organisation, Planning & conduct of Surveys & Census, Tabulation & Statistical Data Dissemination.

Desirable:

(i) Post Graduate Degree with Second Class in Operation Research, Statistics/ Maths (with Statistics)/Commerce (with Stats)/Economics (with Stats)/Sociology/Anthropology from any reputed University/equal.

(ii) Experience of 3 years in the works of establishment, Administration & Accounts.

The deputation period shall not be exceeding 3 years.

The maximum age limit for all the post is 56 years.
