Applications are invited for filling up the post of Joint Textile Commissioner in the e office of the Textile Commissioner under the Ministry of Textiles, Mumbai. The scale of pay for the post is Rs.37400-67000/- with Rs.8700/-as GP (Revised scale)/Rs.14300-400-18300/-(pre-revised scale).

The IAS officers/Central Services Group ‘A’ Gazetted are eligible for the post of Deputy Secretary on deputation basis and the period of deputation will not be more than 4 years. The Departmental Directors with regular service of 3 years may also be appointed to the post simultaneously on promotion basis.

The feeder category departmental officers who are ready to be promoted are not eligible for appointment on deputation and on the other hand the deputationists will not be appointment by promotion.
