The person applying for the post of Junior Telecom officer will be
responsible for smooth functioning of all the technical equipments at
the client end. He should be able to handle all telecom enquiries and
give them a satisfying solution.

Eligibility:

The applicant must be a citizen of India and should not be more than 30 years of age.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate applying for the post of JTO must hold Bachelor of Technology degree from a recognized university/institution. JTO (Civil) should have done Civil Engineering, JTO (Electrical) should be an electrical engineer and JTO (Telecom) must hold an engineering degree in field of Electronics, Computer, Electrical, IT ortelecommunication.

Selection procedure:

The three hours competitive examination will be held on 21.06.2009 on an all India basis. The objective type question paper will be of standard of engineering examination of Indian University. The examination will have 50 question of engineering stream, 50 question specific to department and 20 questions on general awareness.
