KEA 2010



The Karnataka Examination Authority is inviting applications from all the aspiring candidates who want to take admission in graduate courses after the completion of their 10+2. The institute is situated in Karnataka and is approved by the Government of India. The Karnataka State Government conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) and on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate admissions in the relevant courses will be given.

  • Medical
  • Homeopathy
  • Ayurveda
  • Unani
  • Dental
  • Naturopathy & Yoga
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Architecture

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates should be more than 17 years of age.
  • Candidates have completed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized Council and University.
  • Candidates should have secured an aggregate of minimum 50% marks in the final examinations.
  • In order to take admission in courses like Medical / Dental / Homeopathy / Ayurveda / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga candidates must have passed their 10+2 with PCB as their main subjects.
  • A relaxation of 5% in the required percentage will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST.
  • Candidates who aspire to pursue Architecture courses must have secured a valid score in the NATA Test.

Important Dates:

  • The Karnataka CET was scheduled to be held from 28-04-2010 to 30-04-2010.

    I got 77% in pcb in annual exam-2009 i am interested in medical but i didn’t get medical rank .I got ISM&H ranking i.e22459 i decided to go for ayurveda this year.my question is can i write cet-2010 for pcb subjets independently[without the help of college] can i selet exam centre of my convineant .please reply iam in panic
