KEE refers to the Kerala Entrance Examination. This entrance examination is conducted every year to select students for the Master of Computer Applications course managed by various affiliated institutions in the State of Kerala. In fact, almost all the top colleges in the State of Kerala are covered by this test. All of these institutes are AICTE approved.

To qualify for the entrance examination you need to fulfil the following criteria:

1. You must be an Indian citizen with valid residential documents.
2. You must have passed your Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Moreover you must have studied Mathematics as a subject during the Bachelor’s degree course.
3. If you have completed your BCA then too you will be qualified to appear in the entrance test which is regarded as a replacement for the conventional degree courses. But you must have completed the BCA from a recognized and affiliated institution.
4. Final year appearing students are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination. But they will need to submit course completion status certificate during the first two semesters of the Master of Computer Applications course.

Generally the Kerala Entrance Examination is of two hours duration. All the questions are objective type questions with multiple answers. The subjects covered in the exam syllabus include Chemistry, General knowledge, Mathematics, General English, Statistics, Fundamentals of computer awareness and Physics.
