The Kerala Entrance Examination or the KEE is used by a large number of students from Kerala to get admission into top institutes of the state. There are 31 institutions listed in for admission through KEE for the MCA course which includes 3 Government institutions, 2 aided institutions, 23 private self financing institutions and 3 self financing institutions under Government control.

Only Indian nationals are allowed to compete and for eligibility a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 12^th standard or Maths/Statistics at graduation level is considered essential. Final year graduates can also apply. There is no age limit for application.

Application for KEE LLB, a 5 year course will be available through the website www.cee-kerala.org/ Separate forms are available for general and SC/ST category and payment for application has to be done through State Bank of Travancore or through a demand draft.

Date of KEE MCA falls around 4^th week of August, 2010. Application forms will be available from the 2^nd week of July, 2010 and the last date for submission of completed application forms would be around the end of July, 2010.

Entrance exam will be conducted for 2 hours and will have 150 objective type questions. Subjects covered will be Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, General English and Fundamentals of Computer Awareness. Each topic will have 20 questions except the Fundamentals of Computer Awareness which carries 30 questions.

For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 3 marks while for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
