The LD College of Engineering is one of the apex institutes of Engineering in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The LDCE aims at providing good quality education in various fields of engineering. The LDCE is affiliated to the Gujarat University and it is administered by the Department of Technical education, Gujarat State. The LDCE was established by the contributions of Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai in 1948. It is a place adjacent to the Gujarat University, amidst premier institutes like PRL, ISRO, ATIRA and IIM. The LDCE was started with a mere 75 students in undergraduate courses in 1948 and with post graduate courses in 1954. Presently it has 14 undergraduate courses, 12 post graduate courses and 4 part-time courses running.

Presently LDCE calls for admissions into post graduate courses in Engineering and Technology and post graduate courses in Pharmacy.

The applying candidates should have completed graduation from recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate and they should also possess a valid GATE or CET score for eligibility. The application forms will be available towards the end of June, 2010 and the last date for submission of application forms would be around the 1^st week of July, 2010. Finalized dates will be posted in the official website.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.jacpcldce.ac.in/ and the filled forms should be attached and sent with necessary documents and a demand draft for Rs.1000/- per discipline in favor of “the Member Secretary, the admission committee for professional courses” payable at Ahmedabad.
