MAH CET 2010 MBA
The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has conducted a Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for admission into post graduation management degree courses like MBA, MMS, PGDBM and PGDM. The courses are offered in Government, University Managed and Unaided Insititutes of Maharashtra. The non residents of Maharashtra can also apply through CAT/MAT (Feb)/JMET/XAT/ATMA scores. There are more than 200 institutes of different universities in Maharashtra which takes in students through MAH – CET. A total of 60 seats are offered for admission through MAH – CET. The MAH – CET is very popular among management aspirants and the entrance has tough competition.
For eligibility the applying candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for the Maharashtra Backwards Classes). Final year graduates are also eligible to apply.
The application kits are sold from 18th January, 2010 to 3rd February, 2010. The forms were made available in selected post offices across Maharashtra and also in GPO’s of selected major cities. The candidate had to apply online after buying the kit in www.dte.org.in/mba/
The exam was conducted on 21st February, 2010 and the results were declared on 5th April, 2010.
The exam was conducted of 150 minutes duration with 200 multiple choice questions. The questions were asked from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/ Abstract Reasoning. There was no negative marking.
