The Maharashtra Superspecialty Entrance Test or MH SSET is conducted for admission to superspecialty courses like DM & M.Ch in various medical colleges across Maharashtra for the benefit of medical aspirants. The entrance exam is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Government of Maharashtra. The entrance test is very much sought by the medical aspirants of Maharashtra.

There are 7 medical colleges in Maharashtra that participate to offer courses to candidates who pass through the Maharashtra Superspectialty Entrance Test. Of these 7 institutes 5 are located in Mumbai and one in Pune and one in Nagpur. DM courses are offered only by the colleges in Mumbai while M.Ch courses are offered by all other colleges.

For eligibility the applying candidate should have passed post graduate medical degree in respective fields.

Application forms for Maharashtra SSET can be obtained from colleges like GMC Mumbai, BJMC Pune, GMC Nagpur and GMC Aurangabad.

Application forms will be available form 2^nd week of May, 2010 to 4^th week of May, 2010. Entrance exam will be conducted in the 1^st week of June, 2010 and the results will be declared in the 3^rd week of June, 2010.
