Essential qualifications and experiences:

1. The candidates must be an officer under the Central/State Govt/Financial Institutions with the post of Joint Secretary to the Govt of India or equal in the PB of Rs.18400-22400(pre-revised) or, officer of Director rank to the Govt of India with regular service of 3 years in the PB of Rs.14300-18300(pre-revised).

2. The candidate must have an excellent academic career with extensive experience profile at superior ranks of management.

3. 2-3 years of experience in agri-business development or developmental finance or agriculture & related activities or rural development & allied fields is required.

The normal period of deputation is 3 years but t may also exceed up to 5 years.

The maximum age limit is 56 years.
