The Manipal University, Karnataka has conducted the All India Manipal University Online Undergraduate Entrance Test 2010 (UGET 10) in April, 2010. Manipal University offers Medical and Engineering courses to the candidates through the UGET.

Application forms were available in specific places like State Bank of India, MeritTrac Offices, mentioned in the Manipal University website. Alternatively they can also apply online and pay through Credit Card/ Net Banking or Demand Draft. Direct purchase of applications from Manipal University can also be done and it can also be obtained by post also by submitting a demand draft for Rs.500/- in favor of Manipal University payable at Manipal, Udupi or Bangalore.

Manipal University offers many numbers of courses like MBBS, BDS, Engineering, BPharma, Nursing, Biotechnology, B.Sc., MIT, BPT, BOT and Medicine.

For eligibility the applying candidate should be an Indian National and should have completed 17 years of age. All the candidates are required to have passed 12^th standard.

For different courses the eligibility varies. For MBBS/ BDS, candidates should have studied physics, chemistry, biology and English with a minimum of 55% marks in PCB and 50% in UGET 10 is considered essential. For B.Pharm, subjects like physics, chemistry and English with one of mathematics, bio technology, computer science or biology as optional is essential. A minimum of 50% in Physics, chemistry and any one optional subject is a must. For B.Sc Nursing, physics, chemistry, biology and English with minimum of 50% marks in PCB and English is essential. For B.Sc Biotechnology, physics, chemistry, mathematics and English with one of bio technology or biology as optional with a minimum of 60% in physics, chemistry and any one optional subjects is essential. For BPT/ BOT/ B.Sc, MIT/ BSc, NMT/ B.Sc, MLT/ B.Sc & RT subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and English with a minimum of 45% of marks in PCB is considered essential. For B.Sc OPT/ BASLP/ B.Sc AEC, subjects like physics, chemistry and English with biology or mathematics are optional with a minimum of 45% in physics, chemistry and any other optional subjects is essential. For BE subjects like physics, chemistry and English with one of chemistry, bio technology, biology, computer science or engineering drawing as optional with a minimum of 50% marks in physics, mathematics and any other optional subjects is essential.

For MBBS, BDS, BE (Engineering), B.Pharm, BSc Nursing, BSc Biotechnology, BPT, BOT, B.Sc MIT, B.Sc NMT, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc RT, B.Sc OPT, BASLP and B.Sc AEC last date for submission of application forms was in the 1^st week of March, 2010. For BHM, BAJC, BA GIR, BBM e-Banking, BBA JDM and BSc HIA the last date for application was in the last week of April, 2010. For lateral BE and B.Pharm last date for application was in the middle of April, 2010. For B.Sc Applied Sciences, B.Sc Animation and P.C B.Sc Nursing the last date would be in the last week of June, 2010. The UGET 2010 results will be released in the middle of May, 2010 in www.manipal.edu

Examination centers for UGET would be Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Ernakulam, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Manipal, Mangalore, Mumbai and Pune.
