Mathematician is highly skilled and usually works in operations research, numerical analysis, in computer systems design and software programming, information and data processing. Indian Statistical Service (All India service)

The Department of Statistics in the Ministry of Planning and Programme Implementation is the apex body for statistical work. ISS oversees the work of the Central Statistical Organisation (CSO), the National Sample Survey Organisation(NSSO), the Computer Centre and the Pay and Accounts Office. The Indian Statistical Service (ISS) almost annually offers limited number of vacancies in their cadre.

Eligibility Criteria:

? Candidate must have completed their Post Graduation with Statistics/Mathematical Stats/ Applied Stats.
? Candidate must be between 21 to 30 years of age to be eligible for this reputed course.
