Eastern Forest Rangers College, Directorate of Forest Education under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt of India is inviting applications for the following miscellaneous posts on deputation basis:

The PB is Rs.6500-200-10500/- {Rs.9300-34800/- plus Rs.4600/- (GP) (revised pay) in PB-2)}.

Eligibility: The candidates must be officers of the Central/State Govts/Autonomous Organisations/State Forest Service Colleges.

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis. Or,

(ii) With regular service of 3 years in the grade in the PB of Rs.5500-175-9000/- (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.1640-60-2600-75-2900/-) & now according to 6^th CPC in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Rs.4200/- (GP)/equal.

(iii) With regular service of 8 years in the grade in the PB of Rs.5000-150-8000/- (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.1400-2300-2600/-) & now according to 6^th CPC in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Rs.4200/- (GP)/equal.

1. Assistant Instructor (Core Forestry subjects) (Group-B, Gazetted):

Essentials:

(i) B.Sc. of reputed University.

(ii) Certificate/Diploma of Assistant Conservator of Forests training under any of the State Forest Service Colleges.

(iii) Experience of 4 years in Afforestation, Silviculture, Forest Products, Forest Economics, Forest Management, Forest Utilisation, Forest Mensuration. Or,

(i) H.S with Science of reputed Board/Institute

(ii) Certificate of Rangers Training Course under any of the Colleges of Forest Rangers

(iii) Experience of 8 years in Afforestation, Silviculture, Forest Products, Forest Economics, Forest Management, Forest Utilisation, Forest Mensuration

2. Assistant Instructor (Engineering and Surveying):

Essentials:

(i) Civil Engineering Degree/equal under reputed Institute/University.

(ii) Experience of 1 year in Surveying.

Desirable: Teaching experience of Core Forestry.

Deputation period is 3 years.

Maximum age limit is 56 years.
