Miscellaneous Posts, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited



Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is commonly known as HAL. It’s a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking. HAL has recently invited applications to fill in several vacant positions in its Helicopter Complex at Bangalore. The posts have been mentioned below.

  1. One post of Manager (Gr. IV—tooling). The post is unreserved.
  2. Two posts of Deputy Manager (Gr. III –safety). The posts are unreserved.
  3. Six posts of ex-serviceman technician on fully contract basis in the trades of Airframe (1), Avionics (2) and Engine (3). Among the six posts four are unreserved; one post is reserved for SC and another for OBC.

Some other important points:

  1. All the age limits will be calculated with 30-1-10 as the baseline.
  2. For the post of Manager an applicant must possess a BE (Mechanical) degree in Tool design. MTech will be preferred. A candidate having four years of post qualification experience in a relevant field will be preferred.
  3. For the post of Deputy Manager an applicant must possess a degree in Engineering with an additional diploma or degree in Industrial Safety. A candidate having three years of post qualification experience in the field of Industrial Safety will be preferred.
  4. For both the posts of Manager and Deputy Manager the age limit is 45 years.
  5. For the post of ex-serviceman technician an applicant must possess a diploma in engineering or equivalent. A candidate having fifteen years of post qualification experience in the defence field in relevant areas will be preferred.
  6. For the above post the age limit is 28.
  7. The last date for receiving application by the HAL is 30-1-2010.
