There are some vacancies in the National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. Applications have been invited from the eligible candidates for the posts of ‘Scientists-C’ in different respective departments. The number of posts is four and the upper age limit is 40 years. The Pay Band for the positions will be PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 and extra DA, HRA, TA and NPA applicable only for Medical Graduates. The Disciplines or the subjects of the Scientists needed are:

¨ Chemistry (Analytical/ Organic/ Biochemistry)

¨ Occupational Toxicology (Toxicology/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/ Physiology/ Biotechnology)

¨ Environmental Studies (Environmental Science/ Life Science)

¨ Occupational Medicine

The educational qualifications required for the positions are MBBS Degree recognized by MCI or First Class M.Sc/M.Phil/PG Degree in the disciplines as stated above from a recognized University or Second Class M.Sc/PG Degree in the same disciplines from a recognized University or equivalent. Moreover the applicants must have four years of research experience in the relevant fields with proven publications. The candidates having Doctorate degree or MD in the relevant disciplines with detailed knowledge of Computer Application will be preferred more.
