Punjab & Sind Bank is inviting applications from the citizens of India for appointment of officers in JMGS -1.

The total number posts are 505 in different disciplines.

There are 500 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer (JMG Scale-1).

The vacancies for the post of Technical Officer (JMG Scale-1) is 5 i.e. 2 each as Civil and Mechanical Engineer and 1as Electrical Engineer. The Scale of Pay for all the posts in JMGS-1 is 10000-18240 and the age limit for the candidates is between 21 to 30 years.

There are also reserved posts in various categories. 69 for SC, 80 for ST, 124 for OBC and 232 for General.

The age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, for OBC 3years, for Ex-service commissioned Officers 5 years, for officers serving in Regional Rural Banks 5 years, for physically challenged candidates 10 years and for the children/family members of those who died in 1984 riots it is 5 years.

Candidates applying for Probationary Officer must be graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/PC-50%) in aggregate from a Indian Government recognized University. Moreover computer qualification like a diploma in computer operation from institutes like NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course is essential.

And candidates applying for Technical Officer should have a degree in Engineering from a Government recognized University/Institute in the respective field of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical. Moreover 2 years experience is desirable but not essential.

It is to be noted that multiple applications for any one post will not be accepted.
