Department of Science & Technology is inviting application for the following miscellaneous posts for the project entitled “Creation of a magnetic field low temperature facility at UGC-DAE CSR Kolkata”

1. Scientific Officer ‘C’: The PB is Rs.15600-39100 plus Rs.5400/- as GP.

Essentials: Master’s Degree in Physics (First Class) along with an experience of 1 year in handling cryogenic apparatus.

The maximum age limit is 30 years.

2. Scientific Assistant “A”: The PB is Rs.9300-34800/- plus Rs.4200/- as GP

Essentials: Bachelor’s Degree in (Physics) or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation.

The maximum age limit is 25 years.

3. Research Associate I: The pay scale will be according to the norms of DST project.

Essentials: Master’s Degree in Physics with minimum marks of 55% and Docterate in Science.

Desirable: Experience of research in experimental compressed substance physics or resources science with excellent experience & publications in handling cryogenic apparatus.

The maximum age limit for the post is 35 years.

All the above mentioned posts are temporary (1 year)

For all the posts age relaxation for PH is 10 years, ST or SC is 5 years & OBC 3 years.
