NERIST entrance examination invites applications from all the students who are interested in taking admission in various degree, diploma and certificate courses. Every year, the entrance exam is conducted by North Eastern Institute of Science & Technology. NERIST entrance examination (NEE) for certificate, Diploma and Degree courses is distinguished by NEE-1, NEE-2 and NEE-3 respectively.

Eligibility criteria:
For NEE-1:

• The age of the candidate should not be greater than 19 years.
• The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects in the 10+2.

For NEE-2:

• The age of the candidate should not be greater than 23 years.
• The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have studied a combination of PCM or PCMB at the 10+2 level.

For NEE-3:

• The age of the candidate should not be greater than 40 years.
• The candidate should have passed a diploma from a recognized University.
• The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks as aggregate in the diploma examinations.

Important Dates:

• Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application forms : 1st week of Feb, 2009
• Date of NEE Examination : 3rd week of Apr, 2009

• The application form is available for Rs.650
• The forms are also available online and can be downloaded.
• The forms downloaded needs to send the Demand Draft of Rs.750 in favour of ?Director, NERIST? payable at SBI NIRJULI (Code No. 9535).
