NIT 2009 B.TECH



National Institute of Technology are the government aided institutes which are ranked among the top in the most wanted Engineering colleges. There are number of NITs like NIT Rourkela, NIT Calicut, NIT Warangal,NIT Karnataka, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Kurukshetra, all of which sough the admission on the basis of the merit obtained in AIEEE. NO separate exam is conducted for admission in NIT.

The Bachelor in Technology are available in the following streams:
1. Computer Science & Engineering
2. Electronics & Communication Engineering
3. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
4. Instrumentation & Control Engineering
5. Civil Engineering
6. Mechanical Engineering
7. Chemical Engineering
8. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
9. Production Engineering

There is separate Eligibility criteria defined for the NIT. The students who are taking the AIEEE are eligible for all the NITs. The details regarding the eligibility criteria and syllabus follow this link:

Important Dates:
Last date to submit the AIEEE form : 10th Jan, 2009
Date of AIEEE Exam : 26th Apr, 2009
Start of 1sr year classes (NIT) : From 3rd week of July
Deadline for the registration of course : End of July
