Office Assistant, Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank



The total vacancies for the post are 399. Out of which 197 are for General Caste and 202 are for ST, SC and OBC. It is to be noted that out of the total vacancies 12 for Persons with Disability and 40 for Ex-Serviceman are reserved. The age of the applicants should be minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years (as on 01.12.2009).

The educational qualification required is:

· A degree from any recognized University in any discipline.

· A pass in the examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

· Applicants should have minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Matriculation or equivalent.

· A Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government.

The application fee for SC and ST will be Rs. 50/- and Rs. 200/- for each post.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. Further their selection will be solely based on the ranking accorded.

The written test will be held on 21.03.2010. In any case the candidates will be informed about the exact date through their call letters or through local newspapers or website of the Bank. The centers for the test are Muzaffarpur, Purnea and Siwan.

The Pay Scale will be Rs. 4410-215/3-5055-335/3-6060-470/4-7940-500/3-9440-560/4-11680-970/1-12650-560/1-13210. Other allowances like DA, HRA, Medical, LFC facility will be provided as per the Bank’s rule.
