The North Eastern Council Secretariat, under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region is inviting applications to fill up posts of Peon.

The total number of posts is 3 (2-OBC, 1-SC). And the pay scale is PB – Rs. 4440-7440/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1300 (Revised) plus allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.

The age limit for the post is 18-25 years. According to the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time the age limit is relaxable for Government servant upto 35 years.

The essential qualification required is Middle School Certificate or equivalent.

Application may be submitted on a plain paper. Along with the application, the lists of documents to be submitted are:

• 2 recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. One of the photographs must be pasted on the application in the space provided and the other one must be attached with the application.
• Attested copies of all certificates including educational qualifications, proof of age, community etc.

It is to be noted that the Department reserves the right to implement apposite criteria for short listing of the candidates, if necessary.
