Post for Senior Investigator, Ministry of Tribal Affairs



The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is inviting applications form eligible and willing officers who are under the Central/State Government to fill up the vacant post of Senior Investigator, on deputation basis.

The number of vacancy for the post is one. The post is of General Central Service, Group-‘B’, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial. The scale of pay will be PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with grade of Rs. 4200/-.

Candidates must be officers of the Central/State Governments. They must either hold analogous post on regular basis or must have an experience of 5 years regular service in PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with grade pay of Rs. 2800/-.

Moreover they should possess the following educational qualifications:

· Master’s Degree in Sociology/Social Work/Anthropology/ Economics/ Statistics/Mathematics form a recognized university or equivalent..

· Experience of Research/Training/Planning in the field of economic development/social service/welfare of Scheduled Tribes.

· Experience of drafting papers and reports is desirable.

For appointment by deputation the maximum age limit should not be exceeding 56 years.

Only those officers should forward their applications whose services can be spared immediately on their selection.

While applying for the post applicants should forward details like present post held, office, scale of pay etc. In case of retired applicants they should mention the date of retirement from the Government Service.
