Institute of Hotel Management, NCHMCT under the Ministry of Tourism (Govt of India) is inviting applications for the post of Principal.

The PB is Rs.37400-67000/- with Rs.8700/- as GP, Rs.14300-400-18300/- (pre-revised).

Educational qualifications:

(i) Graduate under any reputed University.

(ii) With Diploma course of 3 years’ tenure or Degree in Hotel Management under any National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology or State Board of Technical Education or reputed University securing minimum 50% marks in Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management.

Experiences:

(i) Minimum experience of 3 years in subjects related to Hotel as Department Head in an NCHNCT affiliated Hotel Management Institute. Or,

(ii) Minimum experience of 20 years in teaching or hotel industry with 3 years at least in subjects related to hotel operations as Department Head in an Hotel Management Institute affiliated to reputed University/State Board of Technical Education.

(iii) Minimum experience of 20 years in teaching or hotel industry with 3 years at least as Principal in NCHNCT affiliated Food Craft Institute. Or,

(iv) Minimum experience of 20 years in teaching or hotel industry with 5 years at least as Manager in 4 stars or Heritage/category grant hotel mentioned above.

Maximum age limit is 52 years and for Govt employees 57 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years.
