Punjab Technical University allows the admission for those students who are keen interested in doing several courses of Engineering and Pharmacy. All the courses offered by the Punjab university can be procured by giving entrance exams held for the relevant courses. The merit obtained in the entrance exams are considered for the admission in the university.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. For B.Pharma:

· Candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations with faculty Physics and Chemistry.

· Candidate should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in qualifying course.

· Those candidates who have procured diploma in Pharmacy are also eligible for degree in pharmacy.

2. For B.Tech:

· Candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics.

· Candidate should have gained 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 examinations.

· The candidates who have diploma in Engineering can also apply for the relevant courses.

Seats Reservation:

· Seat for Punjab domiciled candidates : 85%

· Seats for rests of candidates from India : 15%

Availability of Application forms for PTU CET:

The candidate can get forms for PTU CET from:

· PTU Office,

· Recognized colleges and

· Selected branches of Punjab National bank & Allahabad Bank.

Paper Pattern:

For both B.Tech & B. Pharma entrance test will be of 2 hours each.

B.Tech Entrance test:

· Test will be of 2 hours.

· Test will cover Physics, mathematics, Chemistry/Biology/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology.

· All the questions will be Multiple choices.

· There will be 180 questions in total.

B.Pharma Entrance test:

· Test will be of 2 hours.

· Test will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer science.

· All the questions will be of Multiple Choice.
