PUMBA was established in the year 1971. The university allots only 60seats every year to this faculty. National Council of Assessment and Accreditation honored the Pune University with ‘A’ grade with 5 stars.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or is studying in final year. Sciences includes the subjects like Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, Agriculture, Ayurveda, Medicine, Engineering , Pharmacy, Technology, Veterinary Sciences.

The Application form can be obtained from PUMBA office on payment of Rs. 900 (for general category) and Rs. 750 (for reserved category of Maharashtra only).

The form can be obtained by posts on sending DD in favor of ‘The Registrar University of Pune’, payable at Pune from any recognized bank

Significant dates:

Availability of Application Forms: 3^rd week of April, 2010.
Last Date for submission of completed application forms: End of April, 2010.
Group Discussion/Personal Interview: 1^st week of June, 2010.

Admission Procedure:

The list of candidates is made on the basis of ATMA merit and then these listed students are called for Personal Interview or Group Discussion. Finally, the candidate whose overall performance in all the three ATMA, G.D. and P.I. proves to be satisfactory gets selected.
