RAC 2010



The Royal Agriculture College (RAC) is one of the first and renowned institutes of the English speaking world established in the year 1845. It is very well known for its history and tradition but also equipped well with updated teaching and research. The college has a very good study ambience and state-of-art facilities. In 2009, 1000 students from 47 different countries were enrolled for study in RAC. RAC has undergraduate and post graduate programs. The college has over 40 career-focused courses, for the undergraduates and post graduates, which helps them to develop skills in the area of agriculture, land, equine, food business and property industries. During the year 2008, the college boasts of 73% undergraduate placements and 91% post graduate placements. The college is a well acclaimed LEAF innovation centre.

The aspiring students, whose first language is not English, should take up IELTS and should have a score of 6 or 6.5. The RAC also provides a list of equivalent scores for other English language exams. The RAC provides a pre-sessional course for international students so that they can adapt to UK.

For all undergraduate courses applications should be made through the UCAS system. The College’s Academic board constantly reviews the course programs and updates them. For the course to start there should be a minimum number of students and staff should be available.

Admissions are usually open around the month of June or July, 2010.
