IIT Rajasthan under the Ministry of HRD (Govt of India) is inviting applications from the nationals of India to fill up various posts in the fields of Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics, English & Linguistics, Philosophy & Theology, Psychology, Sociology and Classical Statistics.

The name & details of the posts are given below:

1. Associate Professor: The minimum pay scale for the post is Rs.42800/-in PB-4 plus AGP=Rs.9500/-. The minimum qualification required for the post is first class in PhD or equivalent in the suitable branch with minimum experience of 6 years in Industry/Research. 3 years of which must be at the stage of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.

2. Assistant Professor: The minimum pay scale for the post is Rs. 30000/-in PB-3 plus AGP= Rs.8000/-. The minimum qualification required for the post is first class in PhD or equivalent in the suitable branch with minimum experience of 3 years in Industrial/Research/Teaching.

3. Assistant Professor (Contract): The post is on contract basis of 3 years. The minimum pay scale for the post is Rs.20140/-in PB-3 plus AGP=Rs.6000/-. The minimum qualification required for the post is first class in PhD or equivalent in the suitable branch with an excellent academic career right through.
