Applications have been invited from the eligible candidates to fill up three positions of Research Assistant (Hindi Language) on deputation basis in the Central Hindi Training Institute/Hindi Teaching Scheme, a subordinate office of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs. The Pay Scale for the post will be PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800+4200 (GP) (Non-Gazetted Group-B).

Officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis with three to six years service in the different pay scales may apply for the post. The educational qualification required for the post is Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as a subject at Degree level and in Hindi/English medium respectively. The officers must have two years experience in teaching, research, writing in Hindi or terminological work in Hindi/translation work from English to Hindi.

The pay of the selected officer will be regulated in accordance with the Dept. of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt. (Pay II) dated 05.01.1994 as amended from time to time. The period of deputation in any organization before should ordinarily not exceed three years. The upper age limit for the position is 56 years.
