The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is inviting applications for the post of Research Assistant on deputation basis from eligible and willing officers under the Central Government.

Eligibility Criterion:

1. Applicants should possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
2. They should have successfully completed the Basic Management Service Course of the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or any other equivalent course from any other institutions.
3. Applicants should hold analogous posts in the Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- on regular basis. Having 5 years experience in the posts in Pay Band-1 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- or equivalent.
4. In any case if a selected applicant has not completed the requisite training course he /she have to pass the required course within one year.
5. Armed Forces Personnel who are due to retire and have the prescribed qualifications for deputations may also apply.

It is to be noted that preferences will be given to officers from other Ministries/Departments if sufficient number of candidates are not available within the Ministry of I & B.

Those officers whose services could be spared immediately on their selection should only apply.

The applications should be forwarded within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this Advt. The applications will be considered incomplete if it is received after the prescribed period.
