Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow, Indian Veterinary Research Institute



There are some vacancies in the Indian Veterinary Research Institute purely temporary on contractual basis. The vacant posts are one Research Associate and one Senior Research Fellow. A walk in interview will be held at Division of Pathology (IVRI), Izatnagar (UP) on 06.03.2010 at 10.00 a.m. for engagement of these research fellows in the project entitled “Holistic approach for improving livelihood security through tivestock based farming system in Barabanki and Raebareli districts of U.P.”

The educational qualification for the post Research Associate is Ph.D./M.Sc.with first division or equivalent OGPA in environmental biotechnology/microbiology and at least two years of research experience as evidenced from any other engagement. Published research paper will be an added advantage for the applicants. The upper age limit for the post is 40 years. The emoluments will be 18,000 (for Ph.D.) or 17,000 (for M.Sc.) per month + HRA.

The upper age limit for the post Senior Research Fellow is 35 years and the emolument will be 14,000 (for M.Sc.,I & II year) per month and 15,000(III year)+HRA or 12,000 (for others, I & II year) per month and 14,000(III year) + HRA. The essential qualification needed is M.Sc. in any branch of veterinary science/animal science/allied discipline.

The duration of the project is June, 2012 and the project area is Barabanki and Raebareli districts of U.P.
