Applications have been invited for the position of Research Associate for a project under Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Mukteswar. The title of the project is Central Laboratory; Project Directorate on FMD, Mukteswar and the number of position is one. The mode of the position is purely on contract basis.

Some important points to apply for the post are:

v The candidate must have passed M.V. Sc. (Bact/Virology/Biotechnology) or M.Sc. in (Microbiology/ Biotechnology),

v He or she should have experience in Virus isolation in Cell Culture, Virus characterization, Molecular techniques in diagnosis.

v The age limit for the position is 18 to 35 years for man & 18 to 40 for woman. There will be a special relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per rules.

The emoluments for the position will be given as Rs.17, 000 p.m.(fixed) +HRA as per existing rules. Desirous candidates may appear for a Walk-In-Interview along with a type or written application in plain paper having details resume, pass-port size (latest) photograph & all original certificates together with their attested photocopies. The interview will be held in the office of the Project Director, PD, FMD, IVRI Campus, Mukteswar, Nainital. There is no provision to issue separate call letters for interview.

The basic of the position is purely temporary on contract and co-terminus with the Project is up to the end of March or till termination of the Project. Moreover the Institute has the right to give regular appointments at this Institute after expiry or termination of the Project.
