Research Associates & Fellows, Ministry Of Earth Sciences
The Seismology Division of the Ministry of Earth Sciences is inviting applications for 5 each of Research Associates and Research Fellows for the project National Programme on Earthquake Precursors (NPEP) for a period of 3 years.
1. 5 posts of Research Associate. The remuneration offered to them will be Rs.16000/- (fixed) per month plus Medical Allowance and HRA as applicable.
2. 5 posts of Research Fellow. The remuneration offered to them will be Rs.14000/- (fixed) per month plus Medical Allowance and HRA as applicable.
The applicants should have Master’s Degree in Geology/ Geophysics/Seismology/Physics/Computers or B.E/B.Tech Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University. Moreover those who are from science background should have an experience of 2 years in R & D (Research and Development) and those from engineering background should have 3 years experience.
Applicants having Doctorate Degree in relevant subject are desirable and the degree will be counted as 3 years experience.
The age limit for the posts is 27 – 35 years.
It is to be noted that the number of posts to be filled may vary and the essential qualifications prescribed are minimum. Candidates selected are liable to serve anywhere in India.
