Applications are invited for the post of Research Officer (Project Appraisal) in the Planning Commission. The PB is Rs.8000-275-13500(pre-revised) and (revised PB-3, of Rs.5400/- as GP) on deputation or transfer basis together with short-term contract.

Eligibility (Deputation):

1. Officers under Central or State Govt or Universities or Recognised Research Institutes pr Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Govt, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations (a) Should hold analogous posts on regular basis/ with regular service of 3 years in the PB of Rs.6500-200-10500/-or equal/with regular service of 5 years in the PB of Rs. 5500-175-9000/- or equal.

Eligibility (Promotion): The departmental Senior Research Assistants (re-designated as Economic Officer) of Education & Project Appraisal order with regular service of 5 years.

Educational qualification & experiences(a) Master’s degree in Science or Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Operations Research or Business administration or Degree in Engineering of recognised University or equal.

(b) Experience of 3years in the formulation of proposals or projects or programmes & their appraisal.

The maximum age limit is 56 years.

The period of deputation is 3 years.
