RMCAAT 2010 MCA



Rajasthan Masters of Computer Application Admission Test (RMCAAT) is conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University for admission to MCA course in various Government, Aided & private colleges in Rajasthan. It is one of the most sought courses by a large number of students in Rajasthan.

Nearly 32 colleges in Rajasthan that offer MCA courses to the aspiring candidates through the RMCAAT and each institute offers nearly 30 to 60 seats totaling to an approximate of 1800 seats. Only students belonging to Rajasthan state can apply for RMCAAT. The RMCAAT exam is conducted in four major cities Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur.

For eligibility the applying candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category students) and the candidate should have studied mathematics at 12th standard level. Final year graduates can also apply for the exam.

Application forms were made available by 2nd April, 2010 in selected UCO bank branches in Rajasthan. Last date for receipt of completed application forms was on 29th April, 2010. Exam will be conducted on 30th May, 2010 and results will be announced by 6th of July, 2010.

The exam will feature objective type questions and each question carry 1 mark. Duration of exam would be for 2 hours. There will be no negative marking. The question paper will have questions from Mathematical Ability (60 questions), Elementary Computer Knowledge (60 questions) and Reasoning & Aptitude (80 questions).
