The Government of NCT of Delhi conducts the scholarship training program Sahitya Kala Parishad for the benefit of students interested in Music and Dance. The Academy of Music which conducts this program is situated in Satsang Vihar Marg. The Parishad offers scholarship to aspiring candidates who are exceptional in Music, Dance, Drama and Fine Arts. This scholarship is offered only to residents of NCT of Delhi.

This program is dedicated to offer additional training to candidates who are good in Music and Dance. The applying candidates are required to prove their talent to gain the scholarship. Sahitya Kala Parishad, besides Music and Dance, also concentrates on drama, singing, playing instruments and more. This program enhances the confidence level of all those related to arts and helps them to excel in their respective fields.

The scholarship offered by the Sahitya Kala Parishad is called Scholarship for Advanced Training in Music and Dance in 2010-2011.

For eligibility, the applying candidate should not have received any scholarship from the State Government. The candidate should be of 18 to 25 years of age.

Application forms and the rules and regulations including the eligibility criteria are available in the office of Sahitya Kala Parishad.

Scholarship of Rs.1500/- will be awarded for a period of 2 years for advanced training in the field of Classical Music, Dance and other rare forms of arts.

The last date for submitting the completed application form would be in the 2^nd week of February, 2010.

Application forms can be obtained directly from the Parishad office or it can be downloaded from the official website. It can also be availed through post by paying a particular amount.
