The Joint Recruitment Cell, Parliament of India is inviting applications from ex-Servicemen to fill up the post of Security Assistant in Lok Sabha Secretariat.

The total number of vacancies is 27 (4 SC; 2 ST; 7 OBC; &14 GEN). The Pay Scale is Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay Rs.4200.
The upper age limit for the post is 45 years as on 19th April, 2010.

Applicants should possess minimum qualification of Class-XII from a recognized Board and experience/training in handling and operation of Arms and also well versed in all types of tasks concerned with anti-sabotage checks, area sanitization, CCTV operation and other ground duties related to security.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for a Personal Interview before a selection board which will carry 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the Personal Interview is 50%, 45% and 40% for General, OBC and SC/ST categories respectively.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the overall performance in the Personal Interview.
