The School of Engineering and Technology or SET is a premier institute and it is a part of the LNVM (Laxmi Narain Verma Memorial) Society that offers diploma and degree courses in Airline Tourism. SET is the only institute in India that provides training to candidates on its own two heavy aircrafts. SET offers admission into its courses for the year 2010-2011 and calls for aspiring candidates to apply for the course. The LNVM Society is well known for its contribution to education in the field of aviation. It is imparting knowledge to the aspiring candidates for the past 15 years in the field of Aeronautical Engineering and Aeronautical Maintenance.

The courses offered are DATHM, a 1 year course, B.Sc-ATHM, a 3 year course and PGDATHM, a 1 year course. For the undergraduate courses, the eligibility is 12^th standard pass or equivalent while for the post graduation courses, graduation in any stream is considered eligible. Admission is usually based on an entrance test conducted towards the end of May, 2010. Application can be downloaded from the official website or obtained by direct cash payment of Rs.600/- or by demand draft in favor of ‘School of Aeronautics’ or ‘School of engineering and technology,’ payable at New Delhi. The downloaded application forms should be sent with a DD of Rs.1000/- (Rs.600/- for prospectus and Rs.400/- for registration). The physical form of the prospectus will be sent by post after receipt of the payment.

On receiving the completed form, the candidates will be issued admit card for the entrance exams. Admissions open around the month of July, 2010.
