The National Research Center for Citrus has invited applications for a temporary post, Nagpur. The vacancy is under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The name of the position is T-3 (Agril.Engg.Field) and the number of post is one. The Pay Scale of the post will be 5,200-20,200 +2800 Grade Pay.

The essential qualification for the post is Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering. Moreover the candidates having Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineering with soil and water Cons. Engg. as a specialization will be preferred. Experience with Micro irrigation in horticultural crops protected cultivation, along with computer knowledge will be an added advantage for the candidates. The place of posting will be NRCC, Nagpur. The age limit to apply for the post is 18 to 30 years and there will be special relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rule.

1. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. The qualifications given above are minimum and enhanced qualifications do not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

2. The post is under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (the autonomous body) which will be governed by New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004 mutatis and amended from time to time.

3. A latest pass-port size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer may be affixed on the application.

4. The closing date of receipt of application will be the crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates.

5. Age limit for the ICAR employees up to 45 years.
