Candidates interested in joining textile technology should have PCM in 12^th class and should have done B.Tech. Courses. Those candidates with thorough grip in Chemistry may opt for Textile Chemistry. Few courses for B.Tech. (Textiles) are applicable for the Graduates in Chemistry candidates only. Four year degree courses in textile technology demands a high knowledge of the candidate in spinning, knitting and weaving together with the perfect handling of IT, international marketing, efficient machinery, etc. Nodal central for Up Gradation of Textile Education (NCUTE) has been spearheaded this matter. Those candidates who have done graduation in Textile technologists can go for M.Tech. Scholarships reservation can be granted to those candidates who pass GATE and those other candidates who scores minimum 55% aggregate marks can get the paid seats only.
