The Indian Navy 2010 BTech



The Naval Academy Ezhimala (NAVAC) is located in the Kannur district of Kerala and it is a part of the Indian Navy department, Indian Defence. It is a premier training establishment and it offers BTech courses to all the engineering aspirants of India. The candidates should be unmarried to enter the 10+2 (Technical) Cadet Entry Scheme. The selected candidates will be taken for the 4 year BTech course in Electronics and Communication and Mechanical Engineering at the Naval Academy. During the course the candidate will be allotted Engineering or Electrical branch. The degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

The Indian Navy offers BTech courses on Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Production, Aeronautical, Marine, Control, Avionics, Telecommunication and Instrumentation. Only Indian nationals are allowed and the candidates should possess a 12th standard or equivalent with a 70% aggregate in PCM and a 50% in English.

The age limit of the candidate is 16 to 19 years (born between January 2, 1991 & July 1, 1993 (both dates inclusive.) Physical standards should be a minimum height of 157cm and the weight should correlate to the height. The minimum acceptable visual acuity is 6/12 correctable to 6/6 by glasses. The candidate should not be color blind or night blind.

The application forms will be released in popular dailies or at http://www.nausena-bharti.nic.in/ and it should be completed and sent with superscription on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE 10+2 (TECH) – JAN 2010 COURSE”. The last date is closed as it falls on 29th June 2009.
