Applications are invited from eligible candidates both male & female for the post of Trainee Marine Engineer in the Department of Fleet Personnel, the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., a Govt of India enterprise.

Educational qualification:

(i) The candidate should possess Diploma of Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering of AICTE grant College of Engineering. Equal Degree will not be accepted.

(ii) The candidate should also possess a Degree of Engineering with minimum marks of 50% in last year. Along with minimum marks of 50% in English at 10^th or 10+2 level.

Medical standards: The candidate should possess good health and must be fit for the service of sea according to the MS rules of Medical 2000.

The interval of training will be of 12 months & the course fee is 300000/-(approx).

The maximum age limit shall not exceed 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for the candidates belonging to SC or ST category. For women candidates age relaxation is upto 2 years.
