The Gun Carriage Factory of The Indian Ordnance Factories, under the Indian Ministry of Defence is inviting applications from the citizens of India to fill up the posts of Sr. Nurse Grade-II and Ward Sahayak.

The details of the posts are:

1. The number of posts for Sr. nurse Grade-II are 2, 1 unreserved & 1 reserved for SC. The Pay Band is Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

The essential qualification for this post is:

• Candidates should be 10+2 passed or equivalent with Science subjects.
• They must possess certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed General Nursing & Midwifery course from School of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
• A minimum experience of 2 years in a recognized hospital out of which 1 year in Operation Theatre.
• Working knowledge of computers is required.

Candidates having knowledge of Hindi and local language and possessing a recognized certificate in Public Health Nursing is desirable.

2. The number of posts for Ward Sahayak is 2 (unreserved). The Pay Band is Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs. 1800/-

The essential qualification for this post is:

• Must pass Class X or equivalent examination of school.
• Should have knowledge of First-aid, Nursing and Ward procedure.

For both the above mentioned posts the age limit is maximum 27 years.
