NBAIM under Indian Council of Agricultural Research is inviting application for the following various posts of Senior Research Fellows in the project “Application of Microorganisms in Agriculture &Allied Sectors”:

The salary for each post is 12000/-P.M plus H.R.A

1. Abiotic Stress Management: The number of post is three.

Essential qualification: The candidate must be Post Graduate in Science (Microbiology or Botany or Biotechnology with Plant Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Microbial Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable:

(i) Experience of classification & segregation in Bacterial or Actinomycetes, microbial related abiotic stress management

(ii) Experience of metagenomics

(iii) Experience of the plant & soil analysis

(iv) Excellent skill in computer operation.

2. Microbial Genomics: The number of post is one.

Essential qualification: The candidate must be Post Graduate in Science (Microbiology/Botany with Microbial genomics as specialisation/Molecular Genomics) with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable:

(i) Knowledge in cloning & sequencing of genes

(ii) Experience of molecular biology of microbes

(iii) Excellent knowledge in Bioinformatics

The maximum limit of age is 35 years (Age relaxation according to norms of GOI/ICAR).
