Various posts, National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms



NBAIM under Indian Council of Agricultural Research is inviting application for the following various posts of Senior Research Fellows in the project “Application of Microorganisms in Agriculture &Allied Sectors”:

The salary for each post is 12000/-P.M plus H.R.A

Essential qualification for all the below mentioned posts: Post Graduate in Science (Microbiology or Botany or Biotechnology with Plant Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Microbial Biotechnology with 55%.

1. Microbial Diversity & Identification: The number of position is 2.

Desirable:

(i) Experience in segregation & classification of Bacteria or Fungi or Actinomycetes.

(ii) Knowledge of techniques in PCR for the study of molecular diversity with computer knowledge.

2. Nutrient Management, Biocontrol Agents, PGPR, Antagonists & Disease Management: The number of position is 1.

Desirable:

(i) Experience in biocontrol agents’ categorization, Nutrient Management: GLC/HPLC equipment handling, Plant Growth Promotion Rhizobacteria

(ii) Good computer knowledge.

3. Agrowaste Microbial Management, Bioremediation, Microbes in Post Harvest & Processing: The number of position is 1.

Desirable:

(i) Experience in segregation & classification of Bacteria or Actinomycetes, Agrowaste post harvest all through microbial dispensation.

(ii) Experience in Metagenomics.

(iii) Excellent knowledge in Bioinformatics with computer knowledge.

The maximum limit of age is 35 years (Age relaxation according to norms of GOI/ICAR).
